Eyal Zagagi, President & CEO
Eyal Zagagi joined Surf in mid 2003. Prior to joining Surf, Eyal was the Managing Director of Microdent Ventures, a privately-held venture capital firm. He has also served as a director on the boards of 11 companies, including Hyperroll, on whose board he continues to serve. Before joining Microdent, Eyal served for three years as the President & CEO of Virtue3D, a leading solutions provider for the delivery and rendering of 3D content. Beforehand, Eyal spent 10 years in marketing and operations managerial positions with the Elbit Group. During his time at Elbit, Eyal led Elbit’s helicopter avionics business operation in Fort-Worth, Texas for 3 years; headed the US sales, European sales and operations of EVS (NASDAQ: EVSNF), and in his most recent position with the Elbit group served as COO of HyNEX Ltd., which was later acquired by Cisco.

Avi Fisher, CTO
Avi Fisher co-founded Surf in 1996. Since then, he held the roles of CTO, VP R&D and VP Marketing of Surf and is a member of the current Board of Directors. In his role at Surf today, Avi is in charge of defining Surf's current and future product lines. Before founding Surf, Avi founded and managed A. F. Systems, a consultancy firm that provided development services to companies such as Comverse and SmartLink. Before entering the business world, Avi worked for six years in cutting-edge technologies, earning him the Israel Defense Award. Avi's expertise is in Digital Signal Processing, Embedded Software and System Architecture. He issued several patent requests, and was the first contributor to the ITU V.150 standard for the relay of modem signals over the IP.
Avi Fisher holds a BSc (with exceptional honors) and an MSc from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology.

Lior Giladi, CFO
Lior Giladi joined Surf in mid-2007. Prior to joining Surf, Lior served as Finance Director and Corporate Controller at Sapiens International group, a public company that provides software solutions to the insurance industry. Beforehand, Lior held the position of Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers, the world’s largest professional services firm, providing industry-focused services in the fields of assurance, tax, human resources, transactions, performance improvement and crisis management.
Lior Giladi was admitted to the Israeli Board of Accountants and Israeli Institute of Accountants in 1997, and received a Bachelor’s Degree (B.A.) in Accounting and Economics from Tel Aviv University in 1998.

Doron Hendler, VP Sales
Doron Hendler joined Surf in July 2005 and is in charge of Surf's worldwide Sales and Professional Services activities. Before coming to Surf, Doron served for four years as VP of Sales at Trivnet, a leading provider of mPayment and mCommerce solutions used by leading European Tier-1 mobile and wireline telecommunication service providers. Prior to joining Trivnet, Doron was Sales Director for Global Accounts at NICE Systems, a worldwide leader of multimedia digital recording solutions, applications and related professional services. Doron Hendler has over 10 years of extensive experience in sales and management.
Doron holds an MBA from Hariott Watt University and a BSc. in Electrical Engineering from Coventry University in the UK.

Ilan Weizman, VP Marketing
Ilan Weizman joined Surf in mid 2006 and has recently assumed responsibility for all Surf's marketing activities. He has vast experience with multimedia applications and services for the mobile and entertainment world. Prior to joining Surf, Mr. Weizman held marketing and management positions at several organizations such as Intel, Nexperience and 3DV Systems where he was responsible for product positioning, strategic marketing and business case formation, and partnerships with major tier-1.
Mr. Weizman holds an MBA from the Haifa University, School of Management and a B.Sc. in Computer Engineering from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology.

Gil Elran, VP Research & Development
Gil Elran joined Surf in early 2007 and has assumed responsibility for Surf's development activities, including hardware and software R&D, production-readiness, overseeing the testing activities, and support for field deployment. Gil possesses in-depth knowledge of communication protocols and their integration into various network architectures. During the past decade he has led development teams worldwide at companies such as DSP Group and Emblaze Semiconductor, where he coordinated the development and integration of communication protocols (Bluetooth and WiFi), multimedia (Jabber, RSS, 3G.324m, H.324 and SIP), video (MPEG4, H.263/4), audio and data (IP-based services, SMS, MMS); developing projects in various embedded environments using ARM and DSPs in a wide range of operating systems, from low-level embedded to Linux and Windows.
Gil Elran received an MBA cum laude from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, and a B.Sc. summa cum laude in Electrical Engineering from the same institution.

Annie Kaufman, VP Customer Care
When Annie Kaufman joined Surf in 1998 she was one of the first software developers to augment the founding team. Since then, Annie has developed unique expertise in the Embedded Software Programming and System Architecture arenas, with an emphasis on different DSP platforms. In her previous position as Director of R&D, Annie led the development team, managing some of Surf's most challenging development efforts, which culminated in the technology that provides Surf's unique product advantages today. Currently, Annie is responsible for customer care including management of two professional services groups, which provide pre- and post-sales technical support, respectively.
Annie Kaufman holds a BA in Computer Science from the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology.

Guy Shamir, VP Operations
Guy Shamir joined Surf in April 2007 with almost two decades of experience in NPI, Manufacturing and Operations development and management in the High-Tech Datacom & Telecom Networks and Power Electronics Industry. In his current capacity at Surf Guy will lead the organization’s overall production, operations and policy formulation. Prior to joining Surf he served as COO at Flexlight Networks, a provider of optical access solutions for the provisioning of
Ethernet, Voice and Video services, and as a Director in Corrigent Systems, daughter company of Orckit Communications. Guy was responsible for transferring manufacturing to China using turnkey Contract Manufacturers to supply the growing demand and achieving low cost goals as Chief Operating Officer in Metrolight Ltd - a world leader in Electronic Ballasts. He was the VP Operations of NetReality, a leading QOS Network Management company (acquired by Allot Communications). Guy has also earned his international experience as Site Operations Manager at Nortel Networks and was responsible for establishing NPI and Logistics processes with Operations headquarters in the USA.
Guy Shamir holds a B.Sc. degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Tel Aviv University.

Li Carmel, VP of Human Resources
Li Carmel is in charge of Surf's Human Resources planning and recruiting, organizational development, training, worker compensation and benefits, and social activities. Before joining Surf, Li was Manager of Human Resources at Radware, where she was in charge of recruiting, training & organizational development, performance review processes, compensation & benefits policies, and recreation/social/internal communication activities. Prior to joining Radware, Li was a Divisional Human Resource Manager at Nice Systems, where she managed all HR practices for several functional groups, and before that she served as Head of the Recruitment Department at Orbotech.
Li Carmel holds an MBA from the Recanati School of Business Administration, Tel Aviv University, and a BA in Psychology and Philosophy from Tel Aviv University.
