Hypercom Selects Surf Communication Solutions AMC DSP Farm and SurfUP™ Multimedia Processing for its Next Generation Network Access Servers

Arlington, Massachusetts - June 12, 2007 – SURF Communication Solutions® (“Surf”), a leading provider of multimedia embedded processing solutions, announced today that high security electronic transaction solutions provider Hypercom Corporation (NYSE: HYC) has selected Surf’s SurfRider/AMC™ Digital Signal Processor (DSP) farm and SurfUP™ multimedia processing solution for its Next Generation Access Servers. Integrated into a MicroTCA platform, the SurfRider/AMC and SurfUP solution provides high density, fault tolerant, scalable, and secure transaction processing.
The SurfRider/AMC is a fully-integrated RoHS-compliant Advanced Mezzanine Card (“AMC”) DSP resource blade providing flexible yet high capacity media processing. Featuring Surf’s revolutionary modular design, Internal Time Division Multiplexing (i-TDM) standards-based protocol, and Open Framework approach, which allows seamless integration of user-defined and proprietary algorithms, the SurfRider/AMC is the ideal choice for development of a wide range of enterprise and telecom applications.
